Your Role as Deputy Manager
You'll work closely with the Registered Manager to:
* Lead and support a team of Residential Childcare Workers
* Ensure high standards of emotional and physical care
* Create a homely, empowering environment
* Manage staffing, rotas, and compliance with CIW regulations
* Build strong relationships with multi-agency partners
* Champion trauma-informed, strengths-based support
You'll also deputise in the Manager's absence and be part of Llamau's on-call rota, providing guidance and emergency support when needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* NVQ Level 4 in Management in Care (or working towards)
* Experience in registered services and safeguarding frameworks
* Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills
* Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement
* Registration with Social Care Wales
Desirable:
* QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health or Social Care
* Driving licence and access to a car
