Job Description
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our client's Despatch Team based in Grimethorpe. You will play a key role within the Operations Team, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
This is a great opportunity to work with a company supplying products to care homes, businesses, and individual consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on individual requirements and daily targets
* Place stock in designated storage areas and maintain accurate stock location records
* Conduct regular stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy
* Collaborate with the management team to report any issues related to customer consignments
* Load customer orders onto vehicles or prepare them for collection
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and report any hazards
* Keep work areas clean and organised in line with 5S standards
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 requirements and company procedures
* Perform other warehouse duties as required to support daily operations
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive and reliable approach
* Willingness to follow Health & Safety standards
