Senior Cost Accountant – Project Lead
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a transition project, ensuring accurate cost capture and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
* They will oversee cost accounting and reporting for specific business units and projects, providing stakeholders with detailed cost analysis.
* The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely cost reporting for the UK trading business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the transition project.
2. Identify and manage project risks and issues.
3. Oversee cost accounting and reporting.
4. Ensure accurate and timely cost reporting.
5. Adhere to accounting standards and review Balance Sheet controls.
This role requires strong experience in cost / business control and management accounting, project management and cost accounting.
The ideal candidate will have significant relevant industry experience (ideally financial services) and a demonstrable track record of undertaking similar roles.
You will need great influencing and presentation skills coupled with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels across the business.
A key component of this role is building trusted and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide credible insights and challenge, drawing on your business knowledge.
