Business Development Executive
Location: Hybrid – Hessle HQ (easily accessible from A63)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 base salary + uncapped performance bonus

We’re working with a forward-thinking agency with a strong pipeline of qualified leads and referrals, now looking to add a Business Development Executive who can build on this foundation and drive targeted new opportunities. Whether you’re an ambitious professional with some experience looking to take the next step, or a tactical lead generator ready to influence strategy, this is a chance to make a real impact.
This is not your typical sales role. You’ll help shape how the agency grows, balancing the conversion of inbound opportunities with developing fresh relationships, targeting the right brands, and contributing to long-term commercial direction.

Managing and converting incoming leads and referrals
Building and qualifying your own pipeline using tools like HubSpot and ZoomInfo
Leading outreach strategies across email, events, LinkedIn, and phone
Targeting prospects aligned to the agency’s ideal client profile
Representing the agency at networking events and industry meetups
Using AI-powered tools to support lead generation, optimise outreach, and streamline your sales process
Supporting onboarding and ensuring smooth client handover to delivery teams Does this sound like you?
Some experience in business development or client acquisition, ideally in an agency setting
Confidence managing the sales process from prospecting to close – or a clear appetite to learn
Commercial instinct and ability to spot opportunities
Excellent communication and presentation skills – written, verbal, and visual
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders – from SME founders to Heads of Marketing at global brands
