Shift
Sunday - Friday (12:00AM-7:00AM)
Pay
Starting pay rate: $20.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift differential. Total pay rate will be $22.00/hour.
Role and Responsibilities
* Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets.
* In a repair department, places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place.
* In an assembly department, takes stock boards and nails together based on the type of pallet desired.
* Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
* Work requires the operator to stand for long periods of time.
* Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs.
* Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
* Repair Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. They must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
* Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
* 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.
