We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and diligent Cycle Technician (part-time leading to full-time) who is eager to become an integral part of our team.
Role Highlights:
* Engage with customers empathetically to understand their bike issues
* Provide diagnostic guidance and recommend repairs, servicing, parts, and accessories
* Carry out repairs and servicing for e-cargos and e-bikes safely and to high standards using workshop tools and software diagnostics
* Generate technical reports and explain findings to customers
* Keep customers informed about delays or scope changes and obtain approval for additional work
* Work closely with the Branch Manager / Head Workshop to ensure timely completion of jobs
* Maintain a safe working environment
* Perform PDI on bikes before handover
* Update inventory levels with the Branch Manager / Head Workshop
* Provide back-up sales and advisory support on the shop floor when needed
Skills/Experience Required
* Deliver outstanding customer experience
* Minimum Cytech 2 qualification or equivalent (E-Bike qualification preferred)
* Familiarity with technicalities of E-Cargo bikes
* Proven technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
* Reliable team player, proactive in busy periods
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in explaining technical information
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
* Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Citrus Lime, Lightspeed) preferred
* Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures
* Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
