Job title:Avionics Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Warton, We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683+ dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

* Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of the programme using planning tools such as Microsoft Project. Act as the key liaison for the Control Account Manager, ensuring effective integration across the Avionics and Service Delivery Unit (SDU) teams
* Host weekly review meetings with Avionics (AVS) and SDU Sub-CAM teams to collaboratively update programme progress. Ensure alignment with key milestones, including those tracked via Jira
* Work closely with contract teams to agree on required milestone dates, ensuring shared ownership and timely delivery
* Deliver concise briefings to Eurofighter Operations Review and contract programmes to align teams with strategic priorities and operational drivers
* Serve as the primary escalation point for any programme dependencies, ensuring proactive issue resolution and clear communication across stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

* Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering Discipline
* Exposure to Systems engineering processes
* Exposure to project management and project management planning

Desirable

* Chartered engineering qualification, or working towards

The Avionics Systems Integration Team:

As an AVS Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Avionics (AVS) Engineering Programme forward. You’ll take ownership of programme planning and performance, collaborating closely across the AVS organisation, BAE Systems contract teams, and international Eurofighter and partner company networks.

This role offers the rare opportunity to contribute at the heart of capability enhancement activities for the Eurofighter Typhoon – one of the world’s most advanced combat aircraft. You’ll be at the centre of the Clearance Production Programme, which is critical to ensuring business and operational success.

Working earlier in the engineering lifecycle, you will influence key decisions at the point where they have the most impact. The nature of the projects you’ll support is simpler and more agile, allowing for greater innovation, collaboration, and flexibility in delivery.
