Job Title: Fostering Social Worker
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £35 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join our team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, assessing, and supporting foster carers, as well as providing ongoing support to children placed in foster care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruit, assess, and approve prospective foster carers, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria and standards.
2. Provide comprehensive training and support to foster carers throughout the assessment and approval process.
3. Conduct regular home visits and assessments to monitor the progress and well-being of foster placements.
4. Work collaboratively with foster carers, children, families, and partner agencies to develop and implement care plans.
5. Provide advice, guidance, and support to foster carers regarding the needs of children in their care, including behavioral, emotional, and developmental issues.
6. Advocate on behalf of children in foster care and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
8. Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
9. Registered with Social Work England.
10. Previous experience working in a fostering role within children's services.
11. Sound knowledge of fostering regulations, policies, and best practice guidelines.
12. Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
14. Commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children in care.
