We are looking for a proactive and reliable Caretaker to support the smooth day-to-day operation of Space Student Accommodation during the summer period. This role is key in ensuring the building remains clean, safe, and well-presented in the absence of our summer hotel operation. Hours: 35 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, 8am to 3pm Temporary (Summer Support) Key Responsibilities Moving and distributing linen across the development to support operational needs Maintaining external grounds, including watering plants and ensuring outdoor areas are well kept Keeping bin stores clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards Supporting the cleanliness and presentation of internal communal areas Carrying out light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and basic painting Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns What We’re Looking For A hands-on and practical approach to work Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic maintenance skills would be advantageous A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team Why Join Space At Space, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents.
