Responsibilities
* Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
* Build and maintain robust data models, including star schema and reusable datasets
* Transform and prepare data using Power Query (M)
* Develop measures and calculations using DAX
* Integrate data from multiple sources, including Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and databases
* Support automation of data processes using Power Automate
* Apply best practice in data governance, performance optimisation, and usability
* Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant degree or industry certification in a related field
* Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
* Good understanding of data modelling and data architecture principles
* Experience using DAX and Power Query
* Experience working with multiple data sources (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, SQL, APIs)
* Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
* Confident communicating with non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Experience
* Experience with Power Apps
* Knowledge of Python for APIs and web data extraction
* Exposure to data strategy development
* Experience working in client-facing or programme delivery environments
Benefits
* Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience)
* 28 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays
* 3% employer pension contribution
