A fast-growing, privately-owned facilities management business is looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team in Knutsford. Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also receive 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and hybrid working (2 WFH days per week).
You will be acting as support to the business and flagging any risk/issues at the earliest opportunity.
What be youll doing as Finance Assistant?
* Ensuring timesheets are entered onto system and collate to work undertaken and allocated against the correct job.
* Sundry activity relating to expenses claimed i.e. checking validity/rates etc.
* Approvals/Batching/Review and entry of expenses onto internal systems
* Administering all billing of key client activity checking values authorised/client portal/values requiring invoicing etc.
* Ad hoc credit control duties following submission of work to clients.
* Raising POs for project managers and checking values against budget for the job
* Review outstanding POs and action.
Were looking for a Finance Assistant with:
1. Previous experience of a similar role is essential i.e. strong billing and sales ledger experience and using client billing portals
2. Experience of working as part of a close-knit team
3. Strong familiarity with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, etc.
