About the role:
Horizon Teachers are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across KS2–KS3. You’ll help children with ASC and Complex needs thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Key responsibilities
Provide general classroom support across KS2 and KS3, assisting with pupil engagement to enhance learning outcomes.
Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to deliver targeted intervention.
Support the class teacher in planning, preparation, and delivering engaging lessons.
Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and safe environment.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
Previous experience in a school or SEN setting (essential).
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
A solid understanding of SEND conditions and how they affect learning and behaviour.
Confidence in supporting pupils with communication difficulties and/or physical needs.
A collaborative and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
