About us

Management

The Trust has three Clinical Divisions, each managed by a Medical Director (Senior Clinician). This role is supported by a full time Operational Service Manager and a full time management accountant. The approach, in line with Department of Health guidance, devolves as much day to day operational management to the Divisional Management Boards as possible. When appropriate, individual consultants are encouraged and indeed expected to liaise closely with their Divisional Director and clinical colleagues to resolve operational issues. Each Divisional Director is a member of the Trust Executive Board, chaired by the Chief Executive.

The Gastroenterology business unit is part of specialty medicine 1 and includes endoscopy and sits within the Medicine Division.
