What this role involves
As a Sales Assistant you will support the store management team, drive turnover and revenue using lean principles, focus on customer service, and act as an ambassador for the Ryman brand.
Responsibilities
* Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning everything about the business and sharing this knowledge with customers.
* Handle customer complaints and returns professionally to ensure retention.
* Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by the Store Management Team.
* Engage with customers, determine their needs, and match products to those needs, highlighting promotions and upselling.
* Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems.
* Promote high visual merchandising standards and maintain housekeeping standards.
* Acquire a high level of product knowledge and self‑develop that knowledge.
* Recognise and act upon opportunities to increase sales value by offering additional items.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies.
