With a brilliant team of staff at The Pantry you can be assured of a great experience every time you visit. We are looking for a part time kitchen porter to join us. We need hard working and dedicated people behind the scenes. As the successful applicant, you will need to:

* Be able to demonstrate your ability by helping to deliver a top-quality service.
The kitchen porter's main duties will involve washing up, cleaning, Housekeeping and on occasion basic veg preparation tasks. The dishwash area will be your sole responsibility and must be kept clean and always organised.
During busy periods, the kitchen porter will need to have excellent time management.
The duties/responsibilities will include:
Helping to keep the kitchen clean and tidy, emptying bins as and when required, and keeping the floors clear of any debris throughout the day.
As kitchen porter, you will report directly to the Head Chef. You will make sure all the equipment is put away correctly, the washing up of pots, pans and crockery and operating the dishwasher machine safely and correctly.
Personal qualities:
* Being comfortable with standing for long periods of time
* Being able to work fast and efficient.
* Being comfortable with following instructions and remaining calm under pressure
* Being fluent or a very good understanding of English
The Working Hours and Working Conditions:
The usual working hours will be part time
This will include weekends and public holidays.
£16/h Including TRUNC
