Senior Employment Associate – Leading Global Law Firm (London)
A highly respected international law firm is seeking an Associate to join its market-leading Employment practice in London. With a truly global footprint—with offices and professionals worldwide—this firm delivers cutting-edge business law services to some of the world’s most prominent corporations and financial institutions.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to join a top-tier employment team known for its breadth of expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters. The team regularly advises on high-stakes issues ranging from boardroom disputes and executive terminations to cross-border matters and employment litigation. The practice supports a wide client base that includes financial institutions, major corporates, charities, and senior executives.
Key Areas of Work Include:
* Complex employment litigation (High Court, county court, and tribunal)
* Board-level disputes and severance matters
* Corporate transactions, TUPE, redundancy programs
* International employment matters and collective issues
* Executive remuneration and corporate governance
* General employment advisory, including discrimination and maternity rights
* Business immigration (desirable but not essential)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and current legal developments
* Experience working on cross-border employment issues (preferred)
* Comfortable handling a varied caseload spanning advisory, transactional, and contentious work
* Commercially-minded, with excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Values-driven, with a collaborative and innovative approach to legal practice
