Ref:JOB6129 Role Outline We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team in Brighton, working within the purchase ledger function. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive open-plan office environment, where collaboration and attention to detail are key. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What you'll be doing: Maintain supplier accounts in the accounting systems Stamp, code, and input all approved purchase invoices to the purchase ledger Three-way match invoices; to purchase orders,, goods/services received and freelance timesheets Obtain internal authorisations of all invoices outside of the purchase requisition workflow Supplier statement reconciliations Process expenses Assist in payment runs, e-mail remittances to appropriate suppliers Open and distribute Finance post - when in the office Assist others within the Finance team on request What we are looking for: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with previous experience of working within a busy finance team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills, with proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team. We value a proactive team player with a strong work ethic who can adapt and remain flexible in a changing work environment.
