Required licensure in Maine: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

The role includes providing screening, assessments, and brief treatments, including individual, family, and group therapy. Additional functions involve curbside consultation, linking patients to services, and participating in population health activities targeting specific groups. Candidates must be comfortable working with all age groups. Knowledge of and interest in substance use disorders is preferred.
You will be part of a larger team with extensive experience in integrated care, collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinicians within MaineHealth. Benefits include individual and group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterly training sessions.
Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, provides comprehensive care to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
2. Current applicable state license (LCSW or LCPC preferred). Valid driver's license required.
3. At least 18 months of experience in a behavioral health setting; two years preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Behavioral Health Clinician I role.
