Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Paediatric SEMH Team
Specialism: Paediatric Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

Salary: Up to £35.00 Hourly
Type: Locum, Full Time, Ongoing

What you will do:

* Provide expert occupational therapy services to children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Engage with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning difficulties to offer supportive and tailored interventions.
* Collaborate with multi-professional teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated service delivery.
* Utilise sound knowledge of occupational therapy theory and sensory-informed practices to promote children’s independence.
* Offer training and support within school environments, displaying flexibility and confidence in varied settings.
* Conduct clear and concise report writing to document therapeutic progress and recommendations.

Qualifications / Requirements:

* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Valid HCPC registration.
* Membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
* Experience working with children with SEMH challenges is preferred.
* Sound knowledge of occupational therapy theory and sensory-informed practice.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
* Valid UK driving licence, as travel within the region may be required.
