The role aims to maximize project impact through effective consortium and finance management, compliance with funder requirements, and the implementation of efficient project management processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to this and other collaborative research projects, supporting academic colleagues, project consortia, and the operational management of RIMO.
The RIMO office is part of Imperial’s Enterprise Department, which provides commercial and business management services to support funded programmes and projects. Enterprise’s work underpins Imperial’s mission by fostering research, education, and translation capabilities across faculties and on behalf of the university’s academic community. You will collaborate with RIMO team members to provide administrative support for project management activities, including reporting, auditing, developing research proposals, liaising with project consortia and departments, processing payments, monitoring budgets, organizing meetings and events, participating in outreach activities, and managing records and minutes.
Effective interfacing with academic staff, support services, and external partners will be essential. You will also support RIMO’s engagement in university-led activities and events.
