Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an opportunity for a compassionate Inclusive Learning Support Assistant – SEN School to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school in Bristol.
Role: Inclusive Learning Support Assistant – SEN School Personal Care involved.
Location: Bristol, BS4
Contract: Lead to Contract, PAYE.
Pay: £13.75+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
The Role:
As an Inclusive Learning Support Assistant, you will provide vital support to children with complex needs, helping them access education and develop their independence. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, and medical, physical, and personal care needs as required.
Assisting pupils in their learning, both on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.
Monitoring and encouraging progress in pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Liaising with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care and learning.
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN, Healthcare or Coaching setting.
A caring and patient nature, with the ability to build trust and strong relationships.
Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about medical procedures, personal care, or therapeutic approaches.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or open to obtaining one)
Over the age of 18.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
