Job Description
Our Aylesford site has an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary: £31,673 per annum.
Working hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 7am-7pm.
The purpose of a Stock Controller is to be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Stock Control and Warehouse Administration area, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out effectively and timely to allow efficient operations on site.
Key Duties of a Stock Controller:
* Inputting all pre-advises of inbound goods accurately and in a timely manner.
* Communicating any pre-advice not received within agreed timescales to the customer to effect a speedy resolution.
* Liaising with the Stock & Admin Controllers to ensure stock counts, PI, inventory investigations, and other key inventory functions are supported and completed.
* Carrying out physical stock checks as required and investigating any stock anomalies thoroughly.
* Replenishing pick locations.
* Communicating any stock amendments to the customer promptly and professionally.
* Generating pick notes, delivery, and post-picking documentation accurately and in line with operational time windows.
* Maintaining all relevant KPI reporting documents accurately.
* Performing other administrative duties within agreed timescales.
* Checking daily incident reports and undertaking investigations to resolve issues.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Hardworking and conscientious with great attention to detail.
* Strong PC skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications like Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Desirable:
* Understanding of stock control processes and procedures.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
* Knowledge of warehouse operations including goods in, picking, and dispatch.
