This is a part-time on-site role for a Security Officer located in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Other tasks include responding to alarms and emergencies, writing reports on incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. The Security Officer will also provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience in surveillance and monitoring
* Strong knowledge in safety and security procedures
* Proficient in writing reports and documenting incidents
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and act promptly in emergency situations
* Previous experience in a security role is a plus
* Valid security officer license or certification is required
* Physical fitness to conduct patrols and manage confrontations
* Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
