SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-Time, 2 Days per Week)

Salary: £89–£108 per day
Are you looking for a rewarding, part-time role supporting young people with special educational needs? This welcoming secondary provision is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across their sixth form site in the mornings and their main school site in the afternoons. Please note this role is 2 days a week but could be slightly more, depending on the needs of the school.
The role
* Work Tuesdays and Thursdays each week
* Support students in sixth form during the morning sessions
* Travel just over 5 minutes to the main school site for afternoon support (must drive)
* Provide classroom and small-group support, helping students to access learning and build confidence
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met
What we’re looking for
* A current child and adult DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* A driver with access to a car, as travel between sites is required
* Experience supporting young people with SEND is desirable
* A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with pupils
