Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dynamic Religious Education Teacher to join one of our school’s Humanities faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them explore big questions about belief, ethics, and the world around them.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can:
1. Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
2. Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment where all beliefs are valued and explored
3. Inspire students to think critically about religion, philosophy, ethics, and contemporary moral issues
4. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, clubs, and cross-curricular initiatives
What We’re Looking For
You will have:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
6. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related field
7. A passion for teaching RE and a strong understanding of the UK RE curriculum
8. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
9. A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and respect in education
