Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMPPS Newbold Revel, Stretton Under Fosse, Rugby CV23 0TH.
In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the residents and staff at each site.
Responsibilities
* Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
* Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
* Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
* Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
* You\'ll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards while also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too
* This role requires you to have an approachable attitude
What you’ll bring
* Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential - our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
* Be a team player and take instruction

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Shift pattern: Mon 12-18:00, Tue 09:30-18:00, Wed 09:30-18:00, Thu 09:30-18:00, Fri 07:00-15:00
Rate: £12.61 per hour
Full uniform and training provided; Access to Sodexo rewards and discounts; Own vehicle/drivers licence recommended as public transport not reliable due to rural location.
