In this role, you will play a key part in driving quality, efficiency, and optimisation across our assembly operations. You will support the delivery of high-quality output that meets strict safety and compliance standards while contributing to the development of best‑practice manufacturing processes.
This position offers exposure to critical areas of the business, working closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality control. You will be at the centre of problem-solving, process enhancement, and cost-effective engineering solutions, gaining valuable insight into how our world-leading equipment is built, assembled, and delivered.
What You'll Do:
Process Design & Improvement
You'll design, refine, and optimise assembly processes to boost efficiency, safety, and product quality. Using lean methodologies and time‑and‑motion analysis, you will lead initiatives that streamline workflows and enhance operational performance.
Production Support
You will be the go‑to technical support for assembly operations—troubleshooting issues, resolving process challenges, and ensuring all activities meet our strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You'll also maintain essential documentation including SOPs, process flows, and risk assessments.
Equipment & Tooling Management & Quality Assurance
From specifying tools and equipment to overseeing installation and commissioning, you will ensure assembly teams have the right resources to succeed.
Working closely with our quality team, you'll analyse performance data, investigate defects through root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions that uphold product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Project Leadership & Training & Development
You will lead cross‑functional improvement projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables to achieve key operational goals and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
You'll support capability-building by training production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality requirements, creating clear training materials, and sharing knowledge on emerging industry best practices.
