As a Senior Quality Control Inspector, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of incoming parts before they enter production. Youll work alongside a skilled team, including other senior inspectors and assistant QC staff, reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator. This is a hands-on, proactive role requiring strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Inspecting parts using advanced equipment (including CMM) against technical drawings.
* Programming and operating Hexagon CMMs, interpreting results, and training others.
* Collaborating with design, production, and supplier teams to understand critical dimensions and manufacturing processes.
* Producing NCRs and detailed fault reports, maintaining traceability and documentation.
* Visiting key suppliers across the UK to resolve quality issues and strengthen relationships.
