The Role
As a key member of the commercial team, you will take supervised responsibility for the financial and contractual elements of assigned projects or project sections. Your daily tasks will include developing commercial strategies, preparing and reviewing applications and reports, managing subcontractor accounts, and supporting negotiations. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with contractual requirements and company standards, taking ownership of your work and supporting the development of team members.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven expertise in managing contract and subcontract relationships within the construction or engineering sectors.
Extensive experience in preparing applications, reviewing accounts, and supporting negotiations.
Knowledge of contract terms, technical processes, and project delivery techniques.
Ability to innovate, influence, and promote continuous improvements in commercial processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships.
