Banking & Finance Lawyer (6–10 PQE) – Project Finance Focus | London
We are instructed by a highly regarded international law firm to recruit a talented Banking & Finance lawyer to join a growing and dynamic practice. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a leading practitioners in the field on high-profile, complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
The Role
You will advise a broad client base including banks, alternative lenders, asset managers, and borrowers on a wide range of sophisticated financing matters. The role offers a strong mix of work, with a particular emphasis on project and infrastructure finance, alongside exposure to:
* Private credit and bespoke financing arrangements
* Acquisition finance
* Fund finance
* Structured and asset-backed financings
* Hybrid debt/equity transactions
You will play a key role in advising on complex, cross-border infrastructure and project financings across EMEA, spanning sectors such as energy (including renewables), transport, utilities, and social infrastructure. The work also includes involvement in sovereign and sovereign-backed transactions, as well as financings supported by export credit agencies and development finance institutions.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified lawyer with circa 6–10 years’ PQE
* Strong experience in banking & finance, with a demonstrable focus on project finance
* Experience working on complex, cross-border transactions
* Exposure to infrastructure, energy, or related sectors is highly desirable
* Excellent technical skills and commercial awareness
* Ability to work in a collaborative, high-performing team environment
