Job Purpose:
We are looking for a caring and reliable PA to support a happy, sociable young girl with global developmental delay and hypermobility, by accompanying her to Girl Guides.
She is classed as non-verbal and uses a communication book to express herself. She has a bubbly, cheeky personality, loves Disney and enjoys keeping active.
Experience working with children with additional needs is preferred but not essential – the right attitude and a kind and patient approach are most important. If you're interested in making a difference and supporting a fun, energetic young girl to enjoy her activities, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note there are cats in the home.

Summary terms and conditions:
* The rate of pay for this position is £14 per hour
* Mileage paid at 45p per mile
* You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
* Hours and days of work:
o Term time: Mondays 6.30pm – 8.30pm
o School holidays: flexible
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
* Should this job role include any of the following duties: food preparation, moving & handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.
The post is subject to the following:
* A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
* Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
* Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
