About The Role
Please note: This role is Part Time 22hrs per week, working 8-8 on a seven day rota (Day shifts).
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for residents. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure we provide personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will be your guiding principle.
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Building strong relationships within your team is essential.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. A positive attitude, excellent communication, and time management skills are essential, along with a kind and considerate demeanor.
