The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-tier motoring services for private and business drivers. Our unprecedented growth creates a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility for short notice work
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if needed
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. You will receive your schedule seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior. Working hours are between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
