Location: Birmingham
Salary: £58,972 - £68,525 DOE - *The salary for this role will be reviewed once the NHS release their 2024/25 Agenda for Change (AfC)*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Principal Psychologist in neurorehabilitation to join us and help change the lives of people living with acquired brain injury (ABI). We are seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist capable of ensuring the provision and development of high quality, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practice.

The Role:
Brainkind is looking for a Principal Psychologist to develop their experience in our highly regarded service at West Heath House, providing strategic, professional leadership to the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring high quality, innovative, evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practice.
* Providing specialist psychological assessments using tests, self-report scales, observations, and interviews; formulating and implementing treatment plans for mental health and adjustment difficulties based on current evidence-based practices.
* Offering highly specialist psychological advice for therapeutic approaches, supervising their implementation, and undertaking risk assessments.
* Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting Service Managers/Regional Managers in managing the service.
About you:
Applicants should have a doctorate in clinical psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS, with the ability to analyze complex clinical information and lead team efforts. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization skills, and experience in neurorehabilitation are essential. A track record of research or audit is also desirable.
