We are seeking an experienced leader in Philanthropy to oversee major gifts, patron giving, and trust fundraising at Cheltenham Festivals. Join our friendly and successful team to make a significant impact through securing funding from trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and Lottery funders.

We Offer:

Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure funding opportunities
* Lead and motivate a small team in philanthropy and trust fundraising
* Create compelling support cases reflecting Cheltenham Festivals’ vision
* Manage budgets, re-forecast income, and develop bid budgets
* Build and nurture relationships with funders
Candidate Profile:
* Mid-career fundraiser with experience in trust & grants income and understanding of major donors and individual giving
* Skilled storyteller able to craft persuasive proposals
* Comfortable with numbers and budget management
* Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to opportunities
Trusts, foundations, and statutory sources (including Arts Council England) currently provide over £800,000 annually, with individual donations adding a further £1,250,000. Your role is vital to expanding this further.
