Regional Project Manager – Manufacturing Facilities (UK)
Location: UK (with travel across UK, EU & MENA)
Industry: Offshore Wind / Industrial Infrastructure
Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Project Manager to lead the design and construction of a major manufacturing facility in the UK supporting the offshore wind sector. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage industrial facility projects from planning through to commissioning and handover
* Oversee design, procurement, construction, and regulatory compliance
* Coordinate with UK and overseas-based teams to align technical standards
* Lead contractors and consultants, ensuring cost, quality, and safety targets are met
* Liaise with government bodies for permitting and approvals
* Track budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
* Support handover, operations readiness, and post-completion reviews
What We’re Looking For:
* 10+ years’ experience managing UK industrial or heavy infrastructure projects (wind power, shipyards, automotive plants)
* Track record of delivering at least two full-cycle UK projects (£30M+ each)
* Strong knowledge of UK regulations (RIBA, CDM 2015, building codes, etc.)
* Skilled in project planning tools (Primavera, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit)
* Solid understanding of UK construction contracts (e.g., NEC4, JCT)
* Degree in Civil Engineering (APM, PMP, RICS, or MICE is a plus)
* Familiarity with Freeport special policies
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
* UK work authorization required
