Responsibilities of the Childcare Support Worker:
* Supporting the care, supervision, and play of young children.
* Assisting in planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities.
* Encouraging communication, independence, and confidence.
* Collaborating with nursery staff to meet individual needs.
* Helping with daily routines like snack times, toileting, and outdoor play.
Requirements of the Childcare Support Worker:
* Warm, patient, and nurturing.
* Passionate about early childhood development.
* A team player with strong communication skills.
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting is a plus – but not essential.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
