I'm currently supporting a leading Investment Bank in their search for an experienced Lead Java/Full Stack Developer to join their Fixed Income team.
This role plays a key role in an exciting multi-year platform modernisation project, responsible for building completely new real-time microservices for a range of trading workflows.
Responsibilities
* Develop real-time high-performing micro-services across Fixed Income
* Architecting solutions across the full stack
* Influence platform direction and drive the adoption of modern tooling and frameworks
* Work closely with business stakeholders
* Collaborate with cross functional teams
Qualifications
* Strong experience with modern Java/Kotlin and React
* Experience in Front Office environments (Fixed Income is a benefit)
* Experience with concurrency, memory management and reactive programming models
* Experience with using modern front-end tooling
* Experience with low-latency and event-driven UIs
* Understanding of distributed system design principles
* Strong individual contributor who can not only contribute to architecture decisions but also lead and provide direction for others
