Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent for a Property Claims Handler. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, be organised, pro‑active, quick‑thinking, and great at problem solving. Previous experience with handling property damage claims is essential.
Job Specification
* Understand legislation around property damage claims.
* Take claims from the scene – handling cradle to grave.
* Liaise with engineers and third parties – resilience in dealing with challenging customers.
* Liaise with all departments/managers to obtain relevant information.
* Investigate and handle claims efficiently.
* Organise and prioritise workload and work independently.
* Load all claims onto internal system.
* Raise payments for claims.
* Pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy.
* Maintain balance of work to ensure cost‑effective and timely settlement of all claims.
Qualifications & Competence
* Background or experience in an administrative role (minimum 6 months).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
* PC literate.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Understanding of property damage claims processes.
