Staff are currently being trained in Open Dialogue, a new approach that has brought a refreshing perspective to the team. This method is expected to enhance wellbeing for both staff and patients.

Main duties
* Provide medical input to patients under the Community Mental Health Team, attend CPAs for enhanced patients, and offer urgent assessments and advice as needed.
* Lead screening of new referrals to the team on a rotational basis among consultants.
* Participate in service evaluation and future planning.
* Empower the team to resolve local issues using quality improvement tools without needing prior permission.
* Manage, appraise, and supervise junior medical staff in accordance with policies and frameworks.
* Contribute to service and business planning for the locality and the wider mental health service.
* Join the Consultant on-call rota (currently 1:30, non-residential), with remuneration including a 3% category A supplement and additional PA sessions.
