About Crowe
Crowe is a leading national firm offering audit, tax, advisory, and consulting services with global reach and local expertise. As an independent member of Crowe Global, one of the top 10 accounting networks worldwide, we have access to over 40,000 professionals across 140+ countries and more than 800 offices globally.
About The Role
We seek a talented and ambitious Senior Associate to strengthen the ever‑growing Audit function in our Thames Valley office. This role would suit any recently qualified Auditor looking to develop their experience and career in a supportive environment, as well as gain broad and holistic experience.
You will join a growing Audit team of c.90, working with Managers, Directors and Partners on a varied client portfolio (a range of corporate, listed and owner‑managed businesses across multiple sectors) that has seen significant growth over the course of the last 4 years. In fact, headcount in our audit team has grown by more than 100% since y/e March 2020.
Whilst the technical expertise and experience to capably deliver audit work to high standards is important – it’s the drive, ambition, personality and values that we’re most interested in. Being part of our team’s growth strategy will require exceptional interpersonal skills and competencies – not just brilliant audit experience.
* A tangible passion for audit that inspires those around you – colleagues and clients alike.
* The ability to act as a role model, setting an admirable example that our firm’s talented trainees can aspire to.
* Tangible drive for delivering exceptional client service that adds value, underpinned by brilliant relationships you’ve fostered with your clients.
* Aptitude in engaging with ‘the bigger picture’. Thinking outside of the remit of merely an auditor, promoting innovation, nurturing talent, improving culture and motivating others, and setting an example others will be inspired to follow.
* Excellent team working competencies. Ultimately, Crowe is valued by its clients not because our people deliver as individuals, but because they deliver brilliantly as a team. Working collaboratively with others, whilst supporting your colleagues in a myriad of ways is crucial.
We feel that this will be a great opportunity to advance your emergent audit career in a positive environment and growing firm.
About You
You will be able to evidence some good experience delivering external audits within another accountancy firm – having recently completed (or nearing completion of) your professional studies (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
You’ll also be a credible role‑model for our trainees and your peer group – providing an aspirational example that wants to strive towards. You’ll have an infectious hunger for learning and continuing your development after the completion of your professional studies; coupled with an enviable commitment to delivering a service to your clients that reinforces Crowe’s values.
You’ll also demonstrate an ability to think laterally and innovatively – helping you produce fresh and insightful solutions that exceed client expectations.
