Talent Acquisition Manager – Legal

About the Role

We are seeking a commercial, proactive and experienced
Talent Acquisition Manager
lead recruitment efforts for our legal and support roles. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier legal professionals—including solicitors, paralegals, and other legal support staff—who align with our firm's culture and business needs. The ideal candidate will combine strong recruiting expertise with a solid understanding of the legal industry and its unique talent requirements. The role would particularly suit someone looking for a step up to 'Manager' position and who can work as part of the Global HR Team but pretty much own the Talent Acquisition Function with the possibility of building out the function in this rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for legal roles, from job posting and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
* Partner with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to understand hiring needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
* Source candidates through a variety of channels (LinkedIn, legal job boards, professional networks, law schools, and recruitment agencies).
* Screen and evaluate candidates for legal knowledge, technical skills, and cultural fit.
* Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified legal talent for current and future needs.
* Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
* Track and analyze recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
* Stay up to date with trends in the legal market, including compensation benchmarks, talent availability, and diversity hiring practices.
* Support employer branding initiatives to position the firm as an employer of choice in the legal sector.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (advanced degree or HR certification a plus).
* Proven experience (3–5 years) in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on legal or professional services hiring.
* Familiarity with legal roles, law firm structures, and compliance functions.
* Strong sourcing skills with experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
