The Role: Mobile HGV Technician (Heathrow Region) As a key member of the technical team, your impact will be immediate. You will be responsible for keeping critical HGV fleets and plant equipment operational across the Heathrow territory. Your daily work will be varied and challenging, focusing on quality, compliance, and customer service in the Heathrow area. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Executing major and minor repairs and services on a wide range of equipment, including HGVs, trailers, road sweepers, and general plant machinery. Performing Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and mobile breakdown repairs in the field. Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and attachment setups on new equipment. Utilising advanced diagnostic skills and maintaining accurate repair records and documentation. Adhering strictly to Health & Safety, Quality, and DVSA Standards at all times. Role Requirements We are looking for a qualified and proactive HGV Technician who is ready to take ownership of their area: Minimum Level 3 NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance or equivalent experience in Plant Machinery Repair and Maintenance. Proven ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards. A current, full UK Driving Licence is essential for this mobile position around Heathrow.
