Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager (M&E) Client An established and growing M&E contractor with a strong reputation for quality delivery is seeking to appoint a Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager due to continued project wins and expansion. The company delivers projects across the commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure, and residential sectors throughout Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and the UK. This is a permanent, long-term opportunity offering stable work, structured support, and genuine progression within a well-resourced contracts and project management framework. The role is primarily site-based in Northern Ireland, with planned and supported travel to ROI and GB where required. The Ideal Person You will come from a plumbing or heating trade background and have solid site-based mechanical experience. You will have strong health and safety awareness, good organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate site activities and labour. You will be PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors, and management. A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude is essential. Responsibilities As Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical packages on site, ensuring works are completed to programme and quality standards. Duties include coordinating labour and daily site activities, procuring materials and managing plant and hire equipment, liaising with other trades and site management, preparing short-term lookahead programmes with support from the Contracts Manager, contributing to the master programme, carrying out site-based health, safety and quality inspections, attending progress meetings, and providing clear, regular updates to the Contracts Manager as part of a structured delivery team. Remuneration £35,000+ DOE with uplifts for travel and project scope, plus private healthcare (with service), death in service insurance, enhanced company sick pay (dependent on length of service), and ongoing training and development within a supportive working environment with clear progression routes.
