Overview
We’re looking for a Curriculum Developer to join The Learning Enterprise (TLE), part of HCRG Care Group. This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity until March 2025 to redesign and enhance apprenticeship programmes that support learners across health and leadership pathways. You’ll work closely with colleagues, subject experts and employers to review our apprenticeship provision and create engaging, inclusive, and innovative learning journeys that align with apprenticeship standards and prepare learners for End Point Assessment. This role is about more than shaping curriculum frameworks – you’ll also build the digital and classroom-based tools that bring learning to life. The role offers hybrid/remote working with occasional national travel, and the chance to join a supportive Apprenticeships Team of 12 within our wider 65-person training provider. With creative freedom, visibility, and the opportunity to design impactful programmes, this is an excellent chance to make a real difference to the learner experience.

Main Responsibilities
* Review and redesign all apprenticeship programmes delivered by TLE.
* Develop curricula, resources, and learning interventions aligned to apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment requirements.
* Create engaging content and tools that reflect adult learning theory and best practice.
* Work with subject matter experts and employers to ensure curriculum meets workforce needs.
* Incorporate inclusivity, accessibility (WCAG AA), and ED&I principles into all design work.
* Build digital learning tools where possible (eLearning, video, simulations, etc.) to complement traditional methods.
* Support continuous improvement by testing, evaluating, and refining curriculum and materials.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experienced in developing and designing curricula, training, or learning programmes.
* Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and their regulatory requirements.
* Holds a teaching, training or assessing qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, AET, DET, assessor quals).
* Ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning interventions.
* Ideally has experience in digital learning design and/or eLearning development.
* Creative, innovative thinker with strong attention to detail and visual design skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
