Founded by James Grundy and Felix James in 2017, Small Beer is the world's first brewery dedicated to the production of beer between 2.0% - 2.8% ABV. We aim to change the future of drinking culture by crafting award winning, mid-strength beers for a modern drinker. As London's only B Corp Brewery we are committed to responsible production. Our mission is to offer lower alcohol, lower-calorie beers that are better for both the consumer and the planet, while making conscious choices throughout our business.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site and field role for a Social Media Executive, located in London, U.K. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning and executing social media strategies, managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, optimising social media performance, and analysing metrics. The role also involves regular communication with the wider team and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Responsibilities//Qualifications
* Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimisation (SMO), and Media Planning skills.
* Excellent Communication and Writing skills.
* Ability to develop and execute social media strategies.
* Experience in analysing social media metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Support in building the strategic direction across each social channel & deliver compelling, inspiring and highly engaging content.
* Embrace a deep understanding of the brand’s tone of voice and be able to use it to communicate across all channels.
* Drive brand awareness through organic channels to generate greater brand awareness and website traffic and attract new customers.
* Create marketing content that delights, for our newsletters, blogs and social media to support overarching campaign objectives.
* Help deliver a range of creative assets to support paid social campaigns
* Actively seek innovative, interesting, and entertaining ideas that set the brand apart
* Collect and share photo/video coverage of all our events and big moments
* Monitor and report on social media performance based on relevant KPIs
* Understand how to fully capitalise on the opportunities each social media platform provides.
Skills & Experience Required
* You have great knowledge of the channels and how you can construct brand equity and a point of view through social media.
* You’re able to quickly and effectively deliver engaging on-brand copy
* You have a good understanding of SEO and how this impacts the copy you write
* You have an eagle eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of brand aesthetic and digital trends across social media and beyond
* Experience with a CRM platform such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar
* Photo & video editing skills (even if it’s iphoneography!)
* Best practice for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok
* You love social, culture and community building. You know a trend before it happens and you understand why it’s happening
* You seek to be a positive force for change and are excited by sharing the Small Beer story to a global audience.
Role Location: Small Beer HQ, South Bermondsey, London
Job details: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. From time-to-time you may be asked to join in at events, festivals and other activities that see you working outside of these hours.
