Responsibilities
In this senior role, you will provide timely, professional communications advice to senior leaders and deliver campaigns and content that inform, engage and inspire. You will play a key role in communicating council decisions, supporting our values of transparency and trust, and enhancing our reputation.
Qualifications
You will hold a professional qualification such as CIPR, NCTJ or an equivalent relevant degree, and have a strong portfolio demonstrating your strategic communications experience and ability to work with senior leaders. You will be confident, politically astute and adaptable, with excellent writing skills and experience developing effective communication and engagement strategies. You will also be comfortable using digital and social media creatively to reach different audiences.
