Are you an HVAC professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and shaping technical solutions that really make a difference? We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our TFS Technical team and play a key role in supporting our branches, sales teams, and customers across a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC products.
This is a hands-on, advisory role where your technical knowledge, communication skills, and commercial awareness will directly influence customer satisfaction and business success.
What you will be doing
1. Providing high-quality technical support and customer service to internal teams and external customers, including Branch Managers, Internal Sales, Account Managers, and wider business functions
2. Understanding customer requirements and engineering value by recommending equivalent or alternative products across multiple manufacturers, balancing performance, availability, and cost
3. Interpreting and communicating technical information across a broad product range, including split systems, multi-split systems, VRF, ventilation, heat pumps, and controlsCoordinating technical resources and sharing product knowledge clearly with sales teams and colleagues
4. Ensuring accurate, timely product selection and technical advice in line with agreed turnaround times
5. Working collaboratively with technical colleagues and sales teams to develop strong product and technical propositions
6. Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers while staying up to date with industry developments
7. Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to working groups as required
What we are looking for
8. Solid experience within the Air Conditioning Industry
9. Strong fundamental Air Conditioning knowledge with a technically minded approach
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills
11. Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
12. Organised, self-reliant, and comfortable working independently
13. Good commercial awareness and the ability to support sales conversations
14. Confident using Google Suite and handling administrative tasks
