An established in-house design team is seeking a talented Interior Design Technician to join their team. This role is a blend of creativity and technical delivery, supporting the rollout of interior and exterior layouts for a network of branded sites across the UK. You’ll be working from established design blueprints, focusing on space planning, detailing, and ensuring designs align with brand standards and UK regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and develop interior and exterior layouts for multiple sites, working from existing concept blueprints
* Produce accurate space plans that optimise functionality and enhance customer and staff experience
* Maintain brand consistency across all locations, including signage and visual identity
* Specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes from an established catalogue, balancing cost, style, and durability
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, property, and senior stakeholders
* Support implementation, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to see designs through to completion
* Ensure all plans meet UK building regulations and H&S requirements
* Integrate sustainability and energy-efficiency principles into designs where possible
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within retail, commercial, or multisite environments
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
* Knowledge of UK building regs and planning permissions
* Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail

* Great communication and collaboration skills across departments
* Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
* Previous experience working with property, estate, or finance-led environments a plus
Why Apply:
* Be part of shaping the look and feel of a well-known national brand
* Join a sociable, fast-paced design team with great exposure to the wider business
* 25 days holiday (plus your birthday off)
* Perks, benefits, and career progression in a growing team
