OBJECTIVE The Facilities Lead is required to complete cleaning responsibilities in a timely manner as well as lead, support and train the in-studio facilities team. You will need to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment to ensure we deliver the best client experience as well as interacting with clients and assisting with client questions. RESPONSIBILITIES ● Live and breathe our Barry's culture and values ● Maintaining high standards within your primary studio by completing cleaning responsibilities/shifts as well as weekly and adhoc walkarounds and giving feedback where relevant to the Studio Manager ● Establishing and communicating clear expectations of day-to-day tasks within the facilities department ● Deliver feedback to the Facilities Team and Studio Manager to ensure it is dealt with appropriately ● Organise and lead team meetings for your specified region, and attend the monthly Facilities Lead meeting via zoom ● Ensure that clients receive an efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalised service ● Complete the cleaning product ordering for your primary studio and carry out regular stock takes when needed ● Monitor product usage to avoid unnecessary waste ● Liaise with and s upport the Facilities Manager with the recruitment and onboarding of new Facilities team members - including running trial shifts ● Arrange a weekly call with the Facilities Manager to understand best practices and resolve any concerns ● Be present to train all new facilities team members within your studio to ensure that new team members are familiar with AM, PM and weekend shift duties. ● Identify and recognise achievements of team members as well as capability and conduct concerns and address with team members informally ● Work collaboratively with the Studio Managers and Facilities Manager in relation to team performance management, appraisals and delivering feedback ● Assisting lines of communication between Facilities team members and their relevant Studio Manager ● Manage the facilities team schedule including monitoring the teams’ hours and arranging cover for holiday requests, sickness and emergency absence to ensure a full weekly schedule for your studio. In the event that you are unable to find cover, you will be required to work such shifts ● Ensure Facilities team members follow all health and safety regulations as trained, comply with legal and company requirements, reporting any risks to your Studio Manager ● Assist the Studio Manager with problem solving any operational or employee related problems or concerns that you are unable to resolve ● Troubleshoot maintenance issues in-studio, escalating to the Regional Maintenance lead when necessary, ensuring all concerns are managed ● Attend any relevant training as and when required. MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES ● Identifying ongoing fault trends & present effective preventative measures ● Keep up to date with HSE Regulations and report any hazards to the studio manager ● Basic maintenance ad hoc duties WHAT YOU’LL NEED ● Valid Right to Work documentation ● Ability to maintain effective working relationships at all levels. ● Motivated, highly pragmatic and action-orientated ● Conversational English ● Excellent supervisory and conflict resolution skills ● Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and delegate work where necessary ● English speaking skills (written and verbal) ● The ability to prioritise within a fast-paced environment. ● The role requires assistance with studio deliveries so you must be able to complete our Health and Safety training, including manual handling. ● Be able to stand for sustained periods of time. FURTHER INFORMATION ● Your normal working hours are variable, and your working pattern will vary depending on the needs of the business.
